Duties and responsibilities: treat patients who have gum disease and other issues of the gums and bones surrounding the jaw. Also your work may be surgical or non-surgical and might include tasks like placing implants, developing treatment plans, and providing preventative care.
Salary:$192,680
Education:four years of dental school and  complete a Periodontist residency is usually three years long. In order to become board certified, you will need to pass a written and oral exam administered by the American Board of Periodontology
